An international art collective currently based in small town Sweden, working in sound, video, ethnobotany, performance, ministry, activism and installation; action-based & in the spirit of atonement reparative service to terrestrial collective.
Acting as both bridge & channel, Magdalene Collective seeks to illuminate & construct pathways between the secular and sacred, between art and ecology, urban and rural, formal and folk, wild and cultivated, between Gnostic & Neolithic, ancient and modern, creation/destruction, heaven and earth, practice and theory, dream and reality; between birth and death, Spirit and Embodied.
Magdalene Collective is art practice as spiritual practice as political practice; boots on the ground ethos, but barefoot in the garden.
